Heritage Plaster Repairs and Hazardous Materials Removal  
   

A designated Heritage Building,Scott Memorial Hall was originally part of a tuberculosis sanitarium on Lake Muskoka, but has been adapted for use as a meeting hall at the Ontario Fire College. The interior plaster had collapsed over the stage due to wind load stress.

Concept Design and Costing Analysis for full scope of work. Preparation of Tender Documents for reduced scope remedial work to the building envelope and structural upgrades to the exterior walls, including removal of UFFI and plaster, removal and reinstatement of heritage wood trim, installation of new plywood shear wall membrane behind all plasterwork, replacement of heritage textured wet plaster system, provision of vapour barrier, non-combustible insulation, and provision of structural upgrades to the wall framing system which were uncovered during the work. Electrical and Mechanical refurbishment; Construction Contract Administration and Construction Review services Repair work to the vestibules, stairs and projection room were deleted at client request..
