Francesco Ferri obtained a Master of Architecture and Civil Engineering at the University of Ferrara, Italy, in 2008. Since 2018, he has been primarily involved with Spencer R. Higgins, Architect Incorporated, providing services related to the conservation of historic buildings and assisting with laboratory testing work at our affiliated conservator service ArconTEST.

Prior to moving to Canada, Francesco was a licensed Architect on the Register of the Association of Architects, Landscape Architects, Town Planners and Environmental Planners in Italy. Francesco previously worked as an Architect in Italy at AperE in Rimini (2013-2018) and Beta Associated in Bologna (2008-2013).

Higgins Architect Incorporated has included the preparation of Contract Documents, Field Review, and Project Management for various heritage conservation assignments including the John Howard Mausoleum, Colborne Lodge, and the Alumnae Theatre projects in Toronto.
