Michael Yantzi obtained a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Toronto in 2018, following a Bachelor of Architectural Science with Honours from Ryerson University in 2014.
|

He joined Spencer R. Higgins, Architect Incorporated in 2016 and has contributed to the firm's work in the conservation of historic buildings, first as an Intern Architect and since 2022 as a Staff Architect. His work encompasses condition assessments, contract documentation, and contract administration on a variety of heritage restoration projects.

| Mr. Yantzi's experience includes significant contributions to projects such as the York Memorial Collegiate Rebuild, the Toronto Club exterior masonry and roofing restoration, and conservation work at Fort York, the York Club, and Colborne Lodge. He has also provided support for the Saskatchewan Legislative Building Tower Conservation Project and the Centennial Building restoration in Whitby, Ontario. | ||||
| In addition to his professional practice, Mr. Yantzi has served as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Toronto in courses on Urban Design, Professional Practice, and Visual Communication. | ||||
